Our 18th Century Stately Home is in the heart of the Essex countryside, only a short 30-minute drive from Stansted. Boreham House boasts glamorous architecture and intricate details, the perfect setting for your fairytale wedding. As soon as you choose to share your wedding with us, our helpful team will assist you every step of the way; from the floral arrangements to providing transport recommendations and catering, if required.

Boreham House creates the perfect backdrop for your special day and an experience that all of your guests will remember for years to come. Upon arrival, you will be led by an avenue of trees, leading to a mirrored lake, reflecting the exquisite stately home.

Here at Boreham House, we understand that every couple has their own personal preferences and traditions, which is why our Stansted wedding venue can be customised completely. If you choose to use our services, you will work with our professional and experienced chefs to create the perfect menu for you and your guests.

Our venue consists of multiple rooms with various ambiences. The Henry VIII Suite is a spacious oak room with elegant and neutral decoration, holding 550 guests for a ceremony, or 350 when dining. Our Glass Pavilion also accommodates for 550 guests for a ceremony but can hold 400 for a reception. The Glass Pavilion is a glamorous room with floor to ceiling windows, looking out onto the beautiful countryside. With our bespoke nature, you can move from place to place or use a combination of both rooms, collectively holding 750 guests.
