Boreham House is situated just a short 30-minute drive from Rayleigh, in the heart of the Essex countryside, surrounded by 35 acres of picturesque land. Upon arrival at our wedding venue, Rayleigh, you will be directed by an avenue of trees, leading to our breathtaking 18th Century Stately Home, mirrored by the central lake.

Inside our venue, we have many features which add to the charm of the house, including intricate plasterwork, high ceilings, grand fireplaces and bespoke oak panelling. All of these features create a magical setting for your wedding day. A spectacular feature is our Tudor staircase, obtained from New Hall and once owned by King Henry VII, the perfect backdrop for your wedding day photographs.

Our tailoring abilities include which rooms you choose to hold your wedding, your catering choices, flower arrangements and much more. Each of our weddings is entirely individual, and we go to extreme lengths to ensure we accommodate every request.

If you choose to use our in-house services, our teams of staff will always be ready to help assist your every enquiry. Including our caterers, our front of house staff and our wedding planning assistants. Of course, if you choose to use external services, we have absolutely no limitations. You are even able to take advantage of our no-corkage fee for our wedding venue, Rayleigh.
