Our Boreham House Wedding Venue is situated just a short 30-minute-drive from Wickford, in the heart of the Essex countryside, surrounded by 35 acres of picturesque land. Upon arrival of our intimate wedding venue Wickford, you will be directed through an avenue of trees, leading to our breathtaking 18th Century stately home, mirrored by the beautiful central lake.
Inside our venue, we have a spectacular Tudor staircase, that was once owned by King Henry VII and obtained from New Hall. We believe it’s the perfect backdrop for your wedding day photographs. We also have many other features which add charm to the house, including intricate plasterwork , high ceilings, grand fireplaces and bespoke oak panelling. All of these features together create a magical setting for your special day.

We want your wedding day to be as special and unique as possible, so we completely understand that everyone has different wishes and dreams for their special day. When you use Boreham House for your wedding, you have the opportunity to create your own bespoke day, which we can create for you with our tailoring abilities.
Our tailoring abilities include which rooms you choose to hold your wedding, your catering choices, flower arrangements, and so much more. We create weddings that are entirely individual to you, and go to extreme lengths to accommodate every request.
If you do choose to use our in-house services, our team of staff will be ready to provide any assistance at every enquiry. If you decide to use an external team, we have absolutely no limitations and advise that you can even take advantage of our no-corkage fee for our wedding venue Wickford.
INTIMATE WEDDING VENUE WICKFORD WITH ACCOMMODATION
We offer our bridal dressing room to begin the day, allowing the bride and her bridal party to get ready in style and relaxation. If you wish to extend your celebrations, we offer accommodation for up two twenty-four people within our grounds. The bride and groom will take centre stage in the bridal suite, with friends and family nearby. Followed by a full breakfast the following morning to look back on the many memories made the previous day.
