We are situated in Chelmsford, Essex and are in close proximity to central Southend, just 21.5 miles away. This makes for a very easy journey of just 36 minutes to our venue.

Boreham House is filled with historical elements which have all been retained over time, the main piece being our elegant Tudor staircase which was previously owned by King Henry VIII. This astounding feature is the perfect opportunity for photographs, to keep forever.

We have an endless amount of additional services which we offer to make sure your day is hassle-free from start to finish, these include an exceptional catering team and professionals in flower arrangements. We will support you through each and every part of the process when planning your special day.
Boreham House are proud to be an exclusive-use venue which allows our staff to focus just on your event only, this means all of our attention is placed on ensuring you have the best day of your life. Any requests or suggestions you have are of the upmost importance to us.
ACCOMMODATION AVAILABILITY
At Boreham House we offer accommodation for up to twenty-four of your guests, with the newlywed couple being granted the use of our bridal suite, featuring a luxurious four-poster bed and delicate furnishings. All of our overnight guests will be treated to a full breakfast the following morning to extend the celebrations. If you have additional guests who wish to stay overnight to save travelling, we can recommend a handful of highly-rated hotels in short proximity to Boreham House.
CEREMONIES
Boreham House has the ability to accommodate for Asian religious and civil ceremonies within our grounds for up to 550 guests. We offer a choice of locations within the stately home with varying styles to suite your personal tastes.
CATERING
When catering for Asian weddings, we understand the cultural requirements needed in the wedding menus. Our experienced chefs work with you to create a perfect and bespoke wedding catering menu to be suitable for you and your guests.
OUR RECOMMENDED SUPPLIERS
If you choose not to use our catering services, we have a variety of recommended suppliers which we feel will be ideal for your requirements, however, we have no limitations on your choice of caterers to bring to our venue.
