Boreham House is an elegant 18th-century Georgian manor home situated within 35 acres of Essex countryside in Chelmsford.
As you make your way to Boreham House, you will be impressed by our gorgeous avenue of trees, breathtaking mirrored lake and gorgeous manor house once owned by Henry Ford.
We have a selection of rooms at our big wedding venue in Essex to choose from to host your celebrations. Our Henry VIII suite holds up to 400 guests for ceremonies or 350 if dining. This spacious suite boasts oak flooring and elegant, natural decor.
In addition, our glass pavilion can host 450 guests for a ceremony or 400 for a reception. The pavilion boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, which provide a panoramic view of our stunning gardens.
The flexibility of our large venue means your guests can transition between rooms, meaning you can host up to 500 guests simultaneously.

At Boreham House, we offer the opportunity to enjoy an overnight stay for the lucky couple and guests.
Reserved exclusively for our weddings and events, the accommodations at Boreham House offer the utmost in style and comfort within the elegant setting of the Georgian stately home.
At our big wedding venue, we can provide accommodation for up to 24 guests, and our rooms include a Bridal Dressing Room, a Bridal Suite and 8 elegant bedrooms to choose from.
When you spend an overnight stay at Boreham, you will be served a delicious continental breakfast buffet In our Glass Pavillion, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of our lake – the perfect way to end your celebrations.
