18TH CENTURY WEDDING VENUE
Boreham House is one of the most exquisite manor house to get married in, in Essex, built during 1728-1733 for Benjamin Hoare. The house is a Grade I listed mansion filled with an abundance of history, with many original features, including handcrafted plasterwork, original fireplaces, high ceilings and solid oak panelling. The jewel in the crown is our stunning Tudor staircase, obtained from New Hall and once owned by Henry VIII from 1517 to 1547.
We invite our guests to share this wealth of history with us when choosing to celebrate at our Essex wedding venue. Our stately home provides the perfect backdrop for your glamorous wedding photos, and Boreham House is exclusive-use only, meaning it is yours for the day to explore and enjoy.

We believe that all weddings should be utterly bespoke to the individual couple, including any cultural traditions and dietary requirements.
You will personally discuss and plan your wedding breakfast menu with our specialised chefs.
If you choose to use our catering services, you will automatically gain use of our front of house team, our linen-wear, crockery, cutlery and glass wear.
Of course, you can hire Boreham House on a venue-only hire basis, where we supply you with our beautiful venue, and you provide everything else.
We have no limitations on which caterers you bring in to our stately home, and you can take advantage of our no corkage fee.
MANOR HOUSE WEDDING VENUE WITH ACCOMMODATION
At Boreham House, we have a selection of rooms for you and your guests to retreat to after the celebrations. We can accommodate for up to twenty-four guests, including the bride and groom, who will stay in the heart of our stately home in the bridal suite.
All of our rooms feature beautiful furnishings, and each guest will be treated to breakfast in the Glass Pavilion the following morning. If additional guests wish to stay, we can recommend a handful of hotels within a short distance of Boreham House.
