CIVIL CEREMONY

Boreham House can accommodate up to 105 people for a Civil Ceremony in the Oak Room situated within the Main House. Our Glass Pavilion will accommodate up to 300 guests should you have a larger wedding venue in Essex, in mind. Boreham House can host your entire wedding day in one stunning location. Our couples are advised to contact Chelmsford Registry Office on 0845 603 7632 to arrange their ceremony time.

CHURCH CEREMONY

St Andrews Church is our beautiful local village church situated minutes from Boreham House in Boreham Village. The vicar is more than happy to marry couples that live outside of the parish.

Boreham house is simply AMAZING! Went to a friend’s wedding last week Friday, I have got to say this place has a superb scenery and I would most certainly recommend this place for any special event. A spectacular and stunning wedding venue that boasts extravagance, elegance and luxury. This place is surrounded by lovely green acres and a small lake, perfect for wedding shots! The marquee is beautiful and a great place to dine guests and Service is brilliant. The location is great and not too far from London which is very convenient. This is surrounded by lovely green acres and a small lake, perfect for those wedding shots! The marquee is beautiful and a great place to dine guests. When we drove into Boreham House with it’s imposing entrance and the gorgeous lake, we knew this was the venue for us. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and our daughter’s wedding was a momentous and memorable day! From the Civil ceremony in the main house to the Hindu ceremony in Henry VIII suite to the evening reception in the Pavilion, we made full use of the House and the gorgeous grounds. The owner Teresa takes a person interest in every detail and called regularly on the day to make sure all was well, despite being away at a family wedding herself! We will remember this day for a very long time,thanks to Teresa and her wonderful team.

Our stunning venue is based in Chelmsford, which is located in the centre of Essex. You can access our venue from London in less than an hour, by car.

A wedding ceremony is the event which happens prior to the reception, where the official and legal marriage of a couple takes place. It consists of the reading of vows, exchange of rings and declaration of marriage between the two people.

We have a selection of options for your wedding ceremony at Boreham House. We highly welcome you to have your event at either our listed Oak Room located in the main house itself or the Glass Pavilion in the beautiful grounds. 

There is an amazing church in Boreham Village for those who would like a religious ceremony, where the Vicar is happy to marry couples who live outside of the parish.

At our home, your options are endless. 

Our guests have the choice to host their wedding reception at our venue, to continue to celebrations.

We open up to a whole range of other ceremony variations, including civil ceremonies, multi-cultural weddings, same-sex marriages, Asian weddings and more. 

Another service we offer is corporate hire, where we can set the perfect setting for your corporate event on our grounds.
