Our stunning venue is hidden away in the heart of the Essex countryside, with 35 acres of land to explore.

Our 18th Century stately home takes the central stage with its intricate details and great features, looking out onto our beautiful lily adorned lake – the perfect landscape to capture your special day.

AN AFFORDABLE WEDDING VENUE

Boreham House features a multitude of rooms available for St Albans weddings.

The Henry VIII Suite accommodates 550 guests for a ceremony or 350 when dining.

Our Glass Pavilion also holds 550 guests for a service but holds 400 for a reception.

With a combination of both rooms, Boreham House can collectively hold up to 750 guests at one time or offer the ability to move from place to room.

Both rooms are decorated beautifully with spacious floor space and the flexibility to decorate as you wish.

Our menus are also able to be fully customised, and you will work closely with our executive chef, creating your perfect wedding breakfast menu to you and your guest’s requirements.

We also offer a venue hire only option, in which we supply the site only, and you can bring any caterers of your choice into our venue with no limitations.

Civil Ceremony

Boreham House is a beautiful venue with an elegant Oak Room to host your civil ceremony. If you need more space, we also have the Glass Pavilion for up to 300 guests!

Church Ceremony

St Andrews Church is the perfect church for a couple looking to have an intimate, yet secluded ceremony. The vicar will even perform weddings outside their parish as long as you’re in close proximity of Boreham area!

ACCOMMODATION FOR ST ALBANS WEDDINGS

Boreham House holds up to twenty-four guests within its grounds, featuring the bridal suite and eight additional bedrooms.

The bridal party gain access to our luxurious bridal dressing room where they can relax and prepare for the fantastic day ahead.

All of our rooms feature spectacular furnishings and details to make your stay perfect. In the heart of Boreham House lies the bridal suite for the newlyweds to retreat.
