At Boreham House, the venue is as majestic as your wedding could be. As soon as you arrive to this exclusive-use Harwich wedding venue surrounded by trees and a mirrored lake that leads up to an exquisite Georgian Stately Home, you will feel like royalty!
Being around a 45-50 minute drive away from Harwich, our wedding venue is the perfect place so you don’t have to travel too far.
Our Stately Home has multiple rooms to allow for flexible use of space – each area can be used separately or combined. Our Henry VIII Suite holds 550 guests when they are participating in a ceremony and 350 during dinner.
Our Glass Pavilion holds 550 guests for a ceremony and 400 for reception. With 2 beautiful rooms, our venue has the capacity to accommodate up to 750 people total! We also have 250 parking spaces on-site so your party won’t be affected by any congestion around here.

Our Harwich wedding venue offers complete flexibility so that every element of your special day can be tailored to meet your wishes.
Our professional team will work with you from planning stage through until the big day itself, allowing our customers full control over absolutely everything including table decorations and even their entire menu!
If you would like to bring in an external caterer, we have no limitations on who can cater your wedding.
If you bring your own alcohol, we won’t charge a corkage fee. If you’d like to order catering services from us, our front of house team will be there along with linens and crockery for your meal.

ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS FOR OUR WEDDING VENUE
At our venue, we believe that guests should be able to experience the true spirit of celebration by spending their night in one of the grand rooms at our Stately Home.
At our venue, we can accommodate up to twenty-four guests including the bridal suite, which is equipped with beautiful furnishings and a focal four-poster bed. All of your guests will be invited for breakfast in The Glass Pavilion where we serve full breakfasts on-site each morning.
We recommend a handful of highly-rated hotels nearby if you have any additional guests who wish to stay near the venue.
