Boreham House’s entrance is lined with trees and leads you to a beautiful lake. Your special day will be held at our 18th Century stately home, where the scenery perfectly reflects your love for each other.
We have the perfect venue for you! From weddings in our Glass Pavilion that features floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views of country land, or if your style is more traditional we can host a wedding ceremony at The Henry VIII Suite with oak floors.
We offer a variety of rooms to accommodate your needs and preferences, all with the ability for you to personalise them.
In addition, we have different areas throughout each room that allow guests to seamlessly transition from one space into another.

If you want to have a wonderful, lavish event with the help of expert chefs and staff then our creative catering staff will work hand-in-hand to create an unforgettable menu just for your special day.
You’ll also get access to our many luxuries such as crockery, linens, tableware and glassware so that we can make it perfect for you.
We are proud to also offer our stately home as a venue-only hire, meaning that you can take care of the rest.
You can choose any external caterers you wish and we won’t charge for corkage.
CLACTON-ON-SEA WEDDING ACCOMMODATION
We offer one of the most scenic and memorable settings for your wedding day. Our property is 35 acres, which gives you plenty of room to have that perfect celebration with family and friends.
We can accommodate up to 24 guests within our grounds so there’s no need to worry about accommodations being too close together or overcrowding issues
Our stately home has a range of rooms for you to choose from. We have our Lake Suites, Garden Suite, Cottage and last but certainly not least, our bridal suite which is the perfect place to retreat to after the reception.
Our staff will be happy to help you find the perfect room for your stay. We have a range of options for hotels that we can suggest nearby that are sure to make any guest feel at home!
A VARIETY OF WEDDING OPTIONS
Civil Ceremony
Boreham House offers two different locations to suit your civil ceremony needs.
For smaller weddings with up to 105 guests, the Oak Room is a beautifully charming venue that you’ll love as much as we do!
Our outdoor Glass Pavilion can accommodate 300 people for larger ceremonies and celebrations.
Church Ceremony
The St Andrews Church provides a beautiful, intimate space for couples looking to have their wedding ceremony in a traditional church setting. The vicar is willing to perform ceremonies outside of the parish as long it’s nearby Boreham.
Same Sex Marriage
The importance of marriage is something that every person deserves to have fulfilled.
With Boreham House, you’ll never want for a magical day because we offer same-sex marriages as well and allow the bride or groom to plan their wedding from start to finish.
