Here at Boreham House, we understand that every couple has their wedding day perfected in their dreams. Our job is to make them dreams come true, tailoring every aspect of your wedding to ensure your special day is as perfect as can be.

We help you every step of the way from the day you book your wedding with us. Every element of your wedding can be tailored, our highly experienced chefs will create a bespoke menu for your wedding breakfast, or we have many highly recommended external caterers. We offer a venue hire only option, where we supply the venue only as a complete blank canvas.

WEDDING VENUE SOUTHEND SET IN 35 ACRES LAND

Boreham House is situated in the heart of the Essex countryside. Upon arrival you will be greeted with an avenue of trees, leading you to our beautiful mirrored lake, reflecting the elegant stately home.

Our venue is set in 35 acres of picturesque land, perfect for beautiful wedding photos. The interior of our venue is full of intricate plasterwork and original features, including the jewel in the crown; our Tudor staircase, obtained from New Hall and once owned by King Henry VIII.

We have multiple rooms available to use, including the Henry VIII Suite, which holds 350 guests when dining and 550 guests for a ceremony. The Glass Pavilion holds 400 for a reception and 550 for a ceremony. Boreham allows for movement from room to room, meaning we can hold a total of 750 guests, with enough onsite parking for 250 cars.
